The problem
Leads sometimes email asking for their personal data to be deleted. Each request meant finding the person in the database by hand, deleting the record, and remembering to tell every client who had received that lead — under GDPR's one-month deadline, and with no record of who did what.
What I built
A Zapier Agent that scans the inbox for deletion requests, matches them to records in the database, and asks a person to approve before anything is deleted. Once approved, it notifies the downstream clients who received the lead so they can delete it on their side too.
Tools
The result
Compliant data deletion in minutes, not days
Requests are handled in minutes instead of days, nothing is deleted without human approval, and every client who received the data is told automatically.
Automation does the legwork. A person keeps the decision.
